In March I was fortunate enough to be selected to be a part of the 2014 Homecoming Council for my school, Florida International University(FIU). In the council I was on the communications team and we were responsible for the marketing and promotion of all of the events.

I really learned what it means to be part of a team and strive together to reach one goal, which was to make 2014 the best Homecoming the University has seen. We definitely achieved that goal and along the way made the best college memories. We considered ourselves a family.
