I was invited to speak at a Bloggers Business Bootcamp. My presentation was about setting up your digital marketing presence. In the past year I have applied many skills with not only this blog, but interning at a digital agency. Included in the presentation is a case study of my small platform, Exotic Car Life.Â
What amazed me is that my views on my Flickr account doubled in one year. I thought it had lost some of it’s fizz because of Instagram, but it is definitely not dead. There are less comments on each picture but I think that is something that is happening across the board on blogs as well.
I was sharing that it is important to get started even if you do it just a little at a time. Now I can pick up the momentum and expand from the platform I started building. I started on Flickr before Instagram even existed! Luckily I had reserved my brand name on Instagram (@exoticcarlife ) and last year, I started getting huge accounts on Instagram posting my pictures and giving me credit.
